Ingredients: One carrot (approx 100g) One orange Oats Currants/raisins Low-fat milk or non-dairy alternative Ground cinnamon Ground ginger Vanilla essence Low-fat yoghurt
Nutrition: Energy (kcal) 630.7 Fat (g) 7.6 of which saturates (g) 1.2 Carbohydrate (g) 113.4 of which sugars (g) 54.9 Protein (g) 24.1 Salt (g) 2.3 Fibre (g) 10.5
For the second in the series of Oat Cuisine, Emma makes her carrot cake porridge, great for a pre-ride breakfast. The recipe is energy-rich and packed with a great mix of complex and simple carbohydrates. These high fibre oats have a low glycaemic index, meaning you will have a slow release of energy throughout the day.
