Followed instructions on the preparation and the first package exploded all over my microwave and cover. 2nd package I tried 1 minute at a time and it exploded again. Threw out the remaining packages

I followed the instructions carefully except that I used milk instead of water. The product foamed and rose up in the microwave, overflowing into a big mess. I tossed it. I tried again thinking maybe I should just use water as directed. Same thing, so I kept stopping the microwave and stirring it down every 15 seconds or so. Still it foamed and rose. When finished, I let is sit for a few minutes to absorb the water. Never absorbed. It was still watery. I added another half packet and stirred and heated again. Disgusting. Reminded me of my grandkids slime experiments. Horrible product.

It was very powdery and really sweet. I could not taste the maple. It did not taste anything at all like oatmeal. I tried it 3 times to try to get use to it, but I just couldn't eat another. Not satisfying
