A diet staple

I first went on bariatric food ten years ago and this was my breakfast every day for four months while I lost 50 pounds. I gained some of it back due to a medication a couple of years ago, and when I finally committed to taking that off again, this became my breakfast staple once more. It tastes delicious and provides high quality protein. Highly recommended to anyone!

It's not really oatmeal...

Upon opening the package, I discovered that this "oatmeal" is merely a powder. After adding water, the consistency turned to a paste. I might mix it in with Irish oatmeal for the extra protein.

I was hoping this would taste like oatmeal.It did not at all.I thought it tasted like flour and water and more like a paste.I tried doctoring it up with cinnamon and splenda but didn't help.My mother thought it was ok.Guess who will be eating it.lol

I have to say that this oatmeal is actually pretty good. It was a bit pasty put I added more water the second time and that made it better. I like the plan so I can add what flavor I want.

the best I can find

I have to settle for this oatmeal as it's the best I can find for my taste. I wish they didn't sweeten it at all, especially with sucralose, but I can't stand the other flavorings. I really like it PLAIN, but this is as close as it gets. I'll continue to buy this until my weight loss is complete. Then it will be steel cut oats for me! :D

This oatmeal is very tasty! I'm glad I found it. I needed a low carb, high protein breakfast, and this fits the bill, for sure! I add a sprinkle of pure stevia, and it's good to go. You won't be disappointed with this product. I read other reviews stating this oatmeal is slimy, but those folks don't know what good oatmeal is. Oatmeal shouldn't taste raw and be chewy, and this oatmeal reminds me of how my mama used to make oatmeal back in the day! Also very filling.

Something has happened and the recipe is different. This used to be one of my favorite meals. They've added a slight blueberry flavour, which for some people may be a good thing. I don't like it. I'm hoping this is a fluke so I'll try it again one more time. I'm hopeful.
