Good product for tube feedersby CB on 4/24/2014
I used this thru my feeding tube (the J portion of my GJ) to help with constipation from the low fiber tube feed formulas. It helps keep my entire digestive system running better and happier. I still need to take a laxative with it because I am on heavy opioid meds that further complicate the problem but I started with a two month supply and just bought my next order because it's worth the cost to help keep things running smoothly. I can't vouch for taste since I don't drink it but it does go thru a feed tube (18f) with a little force. I usually add a few mls of water to the syringe and shake it with the fiber stat to make it easier to flow thru the tube since my hands are weak. Be sure to flush before and after really well to clean tube after dosing.

i had to have a feeding tube during treatment for throat cancer...fiber-stat proved to be invaluable for maintaining bowel function during that time due to the low amount of fiber in the prescribed liquid food...research indicates that most people do not have enough fiber in their diet so i continued to use fiber-stat as a daily supplement ever since treatment ended...going on 4 years now...2 tablespoons a day with breakfast...a good product!

This is a great product as it is all natural and does not have the GI side effects like laxatives. It is great mixed in coffee and can be mixed n any food or drink hot or cold.

I had a really hard time with bowel movements for the first 4 weeks or so and this has helped tremendously. It's a bit on the strong side of flavor but you only need to take 1 oz. a day... that's smaller than a shot at the bar, lol; and it's not nearly as bad as the pain constipation can cause.

This is a great product! Both my husband and I have used Fiberstat after abdominal surgery and it works wonderfully. The only thing that provides instant relief is suppositories - so nature does take a little time. But it is much faster than other fiber products.

This product tastes horrible. I would not purchase again, thinking about asking for a refund. Along with the horrible taste, it did not work for me at all, in fact, it had the opposite effect. I would not purchase again, will probably end up pouring down the drain.

This product does what it purports to do! The taste is a bit strong on its own; I usually mix it with iced tea.
